Like his favorite movie, Suraj Arulmozhi’s ‘pursuit of happyness’ led him to engineering
Suraj joined PayPal as an intern over three years ago, and today has grown to be a Software Engineer for the Global Data Sciences ART team. He works towards building tools and frameworks in the Data Science space and deploying real-time/batch pipelines and models while collaborating with stakeholders from the Platform & Analytics teams.
Suraj is very passionate about the culture at PayPal whether it is the Community Impact team or Unity, our employee resource group, which have given him opportunities to volunteer and give back to society.
If not for engineering Suraj would have pursued a career in music and chess. He enjoys life as an engineer as it gives him the opportunity to take his theory and experience to build innovative designs and tangible products which in turn result in making a real business impact. Suraj also reminisces that his most enjoyable projects have always been the most challenging ones.
