The name Pulse was inspired by the musical genre trip hop, in particular a song called Teardrops by Massive Attack. The mood of the song inspired everything from the look of the brand, to the line of cakes they offer.

What we love about Edith Patisserie is the amazing flavors their cakes come in. They stock flavors such as Black Sesame, Horlicks, Gula Melaka, Milo, Pandan Coconut and even Thai Milk Tea! Started by a serious foodie, the Ugly Cake Shop is a bakery café and online cake shop that bakes delicious, artisanal cakes which don’t use any artificial coloring and flavors, fondant or gum paste – hence calling themselves ‘ugly’.
