Four Ways to Show Yourself Some #TLC
Where did first half of the year go? With our calendars jam-packed with appointments, errands and endless distractions, there’s a chance you may have lost focus on the things that matter and may even be on the verge of a burnout. We feel you and have put together some wellness tips to help you show yourself some TLC these tips are for you and shake off the stresses of everyday life.

To become the best version of yourself, you’ve got to eat well and respect what your body and mind is telling you. Whether it is kicking back and catching up on your favorite TV series with healthy snacks, inviting some of your closest friends over for wine & cheese evenings or getting back into the groove of keeping fit and exercising again, #WeGotYouCovered.

Here’s our little guide to getting started, starring our PayPal merchants:

1. Invest in your personal wellness.

Exercise is usually one of the first things to be struck out on busy calendars, but there are tiny ways to live a healthier and more active life. We recommend investing in a fitness wearable like FitBit from Ban Leong Technologies Limited, which won’t look too out of place on your arm in a professional setting. You can track your steps, activities and even calories consumed in a day and we really like how there is even a reminder alarm to remind you to move if you have been stuck in an office chair the whole day.

If you want to check that you are on the right track in your personal wellness plan, book a personal consultation at Balanced Living in Singapore. They will work with you to determine personalized diet, nutrition and lifestyle changes to help you feel more balanced.

To take it one step further, try yoga classes at Platinum Yoga or sign up for personalised fitness training sessions at Muve. All it takes is just one hour each week to get back into shape!

2. Invite close friends over for wine & cheese evenings, just because.

Have you been cancelling on your friends just to work overtime or feeling like you have no energy to do Friday night outs? Before they forget how you look, try inviting them over for a cosy evening in.
Tempt them with some wine and cheese from the Winefamily and The Cheese Shop Singapore and we promise they’ll turn up. Wine Family can deliver wines to you on the same day for orders before noon, while Cheeseshop stocks some of the best cheeses, jams and chocolates we have tasted in Singapore.

3. Give up instant noodles - eat healthier!

We have all been there after a long day of work, getting home feeling way too tired to cook. All you want to do is just crash and rest, but that rumbling tummy of yours is refusing to let you get any sleep. During the weekends, you prefer to stay in, rather than fighting the crowds at malls and restaurants. The good news is, there are home delivery options with healthier choices which you can now rely on and #PayPalIt!

FeastBump is food delivery platform where you order from a large variety of bakeries and restaurants that offer takeaways. We love their carefully curated food partners with tonnes of healthy dinner options, such as soba noodles and steak salads from Wafuken. Occasionally, treat yourself by ordering from Ayam Penyet President - you deserve it for working so hard.

#ProTip: If you are celebrating a loved one’s birthday or having friends over, FeastBump has a list of partners just for those special occasions. There’s no need to stress yourself out - just be present and enjoy the company.

4. Sub potato chips and soda with other yummy treats.
We know chips and soda are irresistible snack combinations and are especially tasty after a stressful day at work. For a healthier option, try Pat's Oven savoury snacks. We like their cocktail mixes which are oven-roasted rather than deep fried. If you have a sweet tooth, their mixed berries and nuts combination is a great alternative to sweets and chocolate. The best part is that Pat’s snacks are easy on the wallet and way better for your body!

Our recommendation for the soda substitute is cold pressed juice goodness! J3 Cold Pressed Juice compacts the goodness of fruits and vegetables into tasty beverages sold at pocket friendly prices. Simply #PayPalIt and wait for them to turn up at your doorstep!
