PayPal Statement on Meg Whitman and Governor Napolitano Phoenix Meeting

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano, eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) President and CEO Meg Whitman, PayPal executives and Arizona area leaders met on Sept. 25 in Phoenix to celebrate PayPal's increased presence in Arizona, commencing with the opening of the PayPal Technology Center in Scottsdale.
The PayPal Technology Center, which opened earlier this year, plans to hire hundreds of local technical professionals.
"We're excited to celebrate this opening with Governor Napolitano and other Arizona officials," said Meg Whitman, eBay president and CEO. "I look forward to a long-standing relationship between PayPal and the Arizona community, and the continued growth of jobs in this highly skilled workforce."
The PayPal technology center has openings for technical professionals with expertise in product development, operations and infrastructure design, engineering and support. With locations in San Jose, Calif., Omaha, Neb., and Dublin, PayPal is noted for its exceptional work environments and its commitment to both employees and community.
